Adult Basic Education/GED® Preparation Classes

For adults who wish to work on achieving their personal education and career goals, such as obtaining a diploma or GED®, getting a job or transitioning into a training or college program, adult education classes are also available.

GED® Testing
The General Educational Development (GED®) Test, which enables adults to earn a Commonwealth Secondary Diploma, is given each month at the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) office in Milton.

One-on-One Tutoring
Adults can learn basic skills in reading, writing and/or mathematics.

Family Literacy Program
Available for families with children ages birth to third grade. The program blends parents and their children's learning together. Sites are located in:

ESL Classes
Free classes for students whose primary language is not English. Programs are located in:

Parent-Child Home Program
A family literacy and parenting program where families are visited weekly in their home. The program is available for residents of Milton Area School District with children ages 16 months to three years.
