Admissions Standards
The following standards are used to determine an applicant's eligibility to become an LPN Center student:
Completed
application and paid application fee.
Acceptable
high school record or GED.
References
that attest to the positive character of the applicant.
Composite
entrance score on the standardized screening test within or above 25 percentile.
Evidence
of motivation and ability to complete the program of studies.
Fees & Expenses
Supplies include lab supplies, identification pin,
photo, graduation fees, student liability insurance, technology fee, achievement
exam and licensing fees. Students purchase books and uniforms from the
appropriate companies. Supplies such as a stethoscope, wristwatch with a
second hand, bandage scissors, personal clothing and school supplies must be
purchased prior to admission. Costs for books, uniforms and these supplies
are not included in the costs above. Application

An applicant must achieve a composite score of at least within the 25th percentile to be considered for
acceptance into the practical nursing program.

Complete application and mail it with the application fee

Submit your official high school transcript. If you have a GED,
submit your scores.
Supply two letters of references with the application.
Take the entrance exam scheduled at least three months prior to the entry
date.The
name of the entrance exam is the "Revised Psychological Services Bureau's
Aptitude for Practical Nursing."
You may re-test six
months after the initial test date. Contact the LPN Center for details.
The admissions committee reviews all applications and recommends
