Valley resident picked for national role, Stevens will be Afterschool Ambassador

We are proud to announce that Travis Stevens, TEAMS Program Director at the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, has been selected as one of 16 2026 Afterschool Ambassadors nationwide by the Afterschool Alliance.

Mental health funding restored

Just one week after a sudden federal termination of the $2.3 million Project AWARE IMPACT grant, the funding was fully restored, ensuring continued mental health support for nearly 25,000 students across Central Pennsylvania.

CSIU Dragonfly Glass Mosaic Mural Reveal

The dragonfly is a timeless symbol of transformation, adaptability, and light. It reflects a journey of growth, self-realization, and the beauty of change. 

The CSIU’s dragonfly glass mosaic mural was created through a residency with Linda Billet, a Pennsylvania-based glass artisan specializing in kiln-formed glass and mosaic techniques

CSIU hosts first annual Keystone Hack-a-thon

Inside the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit near Milton, students from across the region are working on STEM projects as part of CSIU's first-ever Keystone Hackathon. Students come as a team, but they don't know what the challenge is until it is released at the beginning of the day.

LEWISBURG — The Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center honored its newest Licensed Practical Nurses during a graduation ceremony held Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Lewisburg High School Auditorium.
