The eToole Professional Learning Network is comprised of representation from learning teams across the CSIU region and this includes school administration, regular education, special education and district staff who service students in the virtual learning environment. Two full day professional learning sessions provide opportunities to explore unique issues surrounding virtual learners and are supplemented by half day professional learning networking sessions offered every other month, which are facilitated by the eToole Virtual Learning team. These sessions allow for face to face networking and professional growth among school leadership teams with an emphasis on aligning online learning practices to district goals. Research based practices are explored and time is allotted for teams to examine student progress, supports, interventions and data collection. District teams collaborate and engage in learning surrounding program design and individual student supports to engage students and meet district and student learning targets.
