Meet the Director
Dr. Jennifer Gurski serves as the Director of the CSIU's Department of Online Learning and supervises the eToole Virtual Learning Program. Her expertise is in adult learning, instructional coaching, and supporting online and blended learning. With over 10 years of experience in professional learning, curriculum, instruction, teacher supervision, online and blended program development, student and family engagement, and online and blended course design, Dr. Gurski can support your organization's goals to advance teaching and learning.
Dr. Gurski is a certified Quality Matters K-12 course reviewer, and facilitator for the flagship course Applying the K-12 Quality Matters Rubric. Prior to her current role, she served as the Director of Professional Development at the CSIU, Inclusive Practices Educational consultant, a secondary Principal in the Danville Area School District, and is a former Biology teacher at the Shikellamy School District.
In her free time, Dr. Gurski engages in service to her community and is an adjunct instructor for Immaculata University, teaching face to face and online courses for master's and doctoral program students.Shown below, is a photo from the 2023 United Way Day of Action, where members of the Department of Online Learning team worked with the Bloomsburg YMCA to prepare for summer.
