ELECT marked 35 years of programming across the state in 2025. It had been several years since the CSIU ELECT Program produced an outreach video, and the anniversary provided an opportunity to do so.
Program staff featured current and former participants to highlight ongoing connections with students after graduation and to allow them to share firsthand how ELECT affected their lives. A highlight of the filming was the participation of a former ELECT couple and their 17-year-old son, illustrating the program’s long-term impact. Organizers said the approach delivered a more meaningful message than a traditional narrative.
Program staff expressed appreciation to all who took part and said they remain honored to serve young families in the region.
