Job-alike Networking
The CSIU supports local education agencies by facilitating a collection of job-alike groups for professionals working within education field areas. Job-alike meeting groups provide a collaborative experience in which education professionals reflect on experiences, share knowledge, and build opportunities to better their professional practice. The networking sessions will combine resources, information sharing, discussion, and action planning around relevant K-12 topics.

State Initiatives
The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) provides guidance and support on a number of education initiative areas. Intermediate Units such as the CSIU, play a vital role in making sure districts are up to date on the most current information and practices from the field. The CSIU serves as regional support to state-mandated training programs under the direction of the PDE.
