Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8)
May 4-8 is Teacher Appreciation Week!
Let's show all teachers appreciation by participating in fun activities that demonstrate how they are appreciated. Each day next week we will post a different theme on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Reply to each post with your favorite teacher's name and school district to help your favorite teacher win a $50 Amazon.com gift card. If the teacher has a social media account, you may also tag them. Your comments may also share thanks and tell stories as well!

CSIU Offerings – Remote Learning
This calendar is designed to be a supplemental support to the efforts each district is making toward continuity of education. This support comes in the form of synchronous trainings in educational technology, literacy strategies, and career readiness for remote learning environments, as well as established office hours for individuals seeking personal support in those same areas and beyond. We know these are unprecedented times, and would like to be available to provide any support your district may need. Together we are stronger in learning.
These online learning opportunities are approved for Act 48 hours for Pennsylvania certificated educators.
Daily Virtual Workshops
This calendar is a compilation of various third-party opportunities outside of the CSIU to extend learning for our students in the form of daily virtual tours, sponsored workshops by educational technology companies, and supports for the social and emotional well-being of our schools and communities.
The daily virtual workshops are NOT approved for Act 48 hours by the CSIU.
