National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Registration and Scheduling Certification Exam
You have successfully completed Nurse Aide Training. It is now time to register and schedule the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program certification exam through Credentia. You will want to use a laptop or desktop computer to create your account and submit your application to Credentia. Cell phones and tablets do not work well for this.
Go to www.credentia.com/test-takers/pa
Approximately 1/3 of the way down the page, on the right, is a section titled Create Your CNA365 Account. Read the “Registration Quick Reference Guide.”
Click on the blue “CNA365 LOGIN” button.
Sign up for your account. Please make sure that your name matches the ID you will be taking and using when testing (and matches the name you used when registering for training).
Complete and submit your application.
(Enter the name of your training provider.)
When you submit your application, you will show as “Pending.” Once your application has been approved, your status will change to “Approved.” You will receive an email from Credentia stating that you are now ready to register for your certification exam. At this point, you will be able to go into your account and schedule your written and skill exams.
You may schedule your written exam to be taken as an online exam or at a test center location. Please review the requirements for online exams found on the Credentia website prior to scheduling an online written exam. Skill exams must be taken at a test center location.
Payment to Credentia may be made via credit card or pre-paid credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, ACH/electronic check or electronic voucher). Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable once submitted.
You may cancel or reschedule an examination online in your CNA365 account. Online written (or Oral) examinations must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Test center examinations must be canceled or rescheduled at least ten (10) calendar days before the scheduled examination date (Saturday, Sunday and national holiday are NOT considered calendar days). If you do not cancel or reschedule your examination within the required timeframe or do not show up for your scheduled examination, you will be responsible for the examination fee. If you do not report to an examination at your scheduled time, you will be considered a “no show” and fees paid will be forfeited. An unexcused absence will also count as one of your 3 “opportunities” to pass the exam. See your Credentia Candidate Handbook or the website for further information.
You are responsible for completing an online application in CNA365. If you need assistance or have questions about the application process, please contact a Credentia support representative at 800-457-6752.
