Electronic Timesheet Instructions for Aide Only Substitutes

  1.  Log into the FIS system: https://fis.csiu-technology.org/CSIU/Account 
    a. Make sure the “SAML Login” is blue and then click the “sign in with Microsoft” box.
  2. Once in the FIS system, Go into Staff Portal tab
  3. Click on My Information
  4. Click on Timesheet Information
  5. Click the appropriate title.

Substitute Aide

  • Once you have selected your timesheet, you will see the dates on the left hand side
  • Under the Type tab, select “work”
  • Select your Job Title
  • Next, Enter Time IN and Time OUT, if you took a lunch break, please place the duration in the Break section and choose the program you were in.
  • For each day you worked, please enter the program you worked for and for who you were in for in the  notes section for that day.
  • When you are finished, click SAVE at the bottom. Pay close attention – if there are any errors you will see an error message in red in the bottom left (It shows up and goes away quickly). But it only stays there for a few seconds. Find the error and correct – hit save again. You should then see 0 errors in red. (You need to see 0 or it won’t save any of your information)
  • Next you MUST click the Complete box at the top, but only after you are completely finished. NOTE: Save does not submit the timesheet for supervisory approval, only the complete box does this.

If you need to revise your timesheet, please unclick the complete box, fix what you need, save, and click complete again.

  1. Electronic time sheets must be completed by Monday at midnight (see timesheet submission schedule). If you fail to complete it by then you will be locked out. Your supervisor has until Tuesday at midnight to approve it.
  2. If you want to print a copy of your timesheet – go to the upper right hand side of your time sheet. You will see a timesheet report. You can print a copy from there.

  1. Once in the FIS system, Go into Staff Portal tab
  2. Click on My Information
  3. Click on Timesheet Information
  4. Click the appropriate title. 
    1. Guest teachers and Sub teacher: Select the “Part time – Sub teacher”” with the correct pay date.
    2. Guest Teachers will always click Part Time Sub Teacher no matter the job you selected on Frontline.
    3. This will open up the time sheet

Substitute Teachers (Guest Teachers and Sub Teachers)

  • Once you have selected your timesheet, you will see the dates on the left hand side
  • Under the Type tab, select “work”
  • Select your job title.
  • For each day that you worked, please enter 0.50 for a half day and a 1 for a full day of working  the Units tab
  • For each day you worked, please enter the program you worked for and for who you were in for in the  notes section for that day.
  • When you are finished, click SAVE at the bottom. Pay close attention – if there are any errors you will see an error message in red in the bottom left (It shows up and goes away quickly).
