Beyond Boundaries Happy Teens

Empowering At-Risk Youth to Overcome Challenges and Succeed

A Place Where Every Student’s Voice is Heard

Welcome to Beyond Boundaries The Beyond Boundaries Non-Traditional Program offers a unique educational experience for students who may face mental health challenges, trauma, school avoidance, and academic struggles. We believe that every student deserves to be heard, valued, and supported on their educational journey.

A Comfortable, Supportive Learning Environment We provide a safe, welcoming classroom where students can thrive. Our classroom features comfortable bean bag chairs and couches to create a relaxed atmosphere. Students have access to computers, where they complete coursework through an easy-to-use cyber platform.

Academic Pacing: Whether students are behind or ahead, we work with them at their own pace, ensuring that they feel supported but not overwhelmed.

Work-Life Balance: After completing their academic goals, students can unwind, play games, or chat with peers in a laid-back, social environment.

A Program That Works for Your Student

Abbreviated School Day: Students attend Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., giving them more time for rest, self-care, and outside activities.

Earn Time Off: Students who consistently meet their goals and stay ahead of their coursework can earn Fridays off, or even Thursday and Friday off with extra progress.

Stay Connected: Students are still part of their home district. They can attend extracurricular activities and school events, keeping them connected to their home community.

Our program is designed to adapt to each student’s individual needs. Whether they need to catch up academically or work at their own pace, we are here to support them every step of the way.

Daily Support: Daily academic goals and one on one support for steady progression.

Emotional and Academic Growth: Through ongoing guidance, students learn to manage their mental health challenges while progressing academically.

A Place to Belong: Our program offers a safe space where students can feel accepted, valued, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Future Planning: We offer support for students’ futures, with a school guidance counselor who works with each student to explore their goals, plan for life after high school, and provide guidance on career paths, college applications, or job readiness.

Mental Health Support: Our social worker visits weekly to conduct group sessions, as well as individual sessions for students who need additional support. This ensures that emotional well-being is prioritized alongside academic progress.
