The eToole Professional Learning Network is comprised of representation from across the CSIU region and includes district administrators, regular and special education teachers, guidance counselors, and district points of contact supporting online and flexible learning programs. eToole Membership benefits, include courseware, technical support, full-day professional learning sessions and shorter networking opportunities. Contact jgurski@csiu.org for more information on membership.

Fostering professional growth among school leadership teams, emphasis is on collaboration. Research-based practices are explored and time is allotted for teams to examine student progress, interventions and data. District teams receive support to achieve district metrics and student learning targets.

The CSIU is a Quality Matters (QM) consortium partner, serving as an approved QM training site for the Flagship QM workshop: K-12 Applying the Quality Matters Rubric Workshop. Our staff is trained to serve as QM certified facilitators and K-12 course reviewers. In addition to the flagship course and internal course reviews, educators can access QM-aligned professional learning events, and participate in unique cohort opportunities or coaching support. Our highly qualified staff can serve as a resource for your district's internal course review process, supporting alignment and ensuring National Standards for Course Quality are present in your district's course offerings for your students.

The Department of Online Learning fosters innovative practices for demonstrating online teaching skills, through our (NEW!) asynchronous Microlearning pathways. These pathways provide educators opportunities to engage in deeper exploration of the National Standards for Quality (NSQ) Online Teaching and provide opportunities for practical application of teaching and technology skills to the classroom. Join us in this Learn, Explore, Implement and Reflect pathway model designed by educators for educators!
