Welcome to the NEST Clinic.
Our Vision
The NEST Clinic stands for Nurturing Environments for Support and Treatment. We are a school-integrated outpatient mental health clinic built to serve children, teens, and families—especially those who’ve fallen through the cracks. Our goal is simple: to bring high-quality, compassionate mental health care directly into the lives and communities of those who need it most.
We believe that care should be relational, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in trust. We are not here to “fix” people. We are here to walk with them, honor their stories, and offer tools that help them heal and grow.
The Culture We’re Creating
Every person who walks through our doors—whether patient, family member, therapist, or admin—is treated with dignity and care. At The NEST, we aim to foster a work environment where people feel:
-
Seen and valued
-
Safe to speak up
-
Part of a team, not just a task list
-
Grounded in purpose, not pressure
We show up for the hard moments, and we hold space for each other. Humor, grace, and teamwork matter here.
Who We Serve
-
Children and adolescents (primarily school-aged)
-
Parents and caregivers who are part of the treatment process
-
Adults who may benefit from outpatient behavioral health services
-
Families navigating emotional, behavioral, or trauma-related challenges
-
Individuals referred by schools, pediatricians, or community providers
Many of our patients face layered and often overwhelming life stressors—such as persistent anxiety, experiences of bullying or social isolation, sudden family disruptions like divorce or relocation, involvement with child welfare systems, grief, or a history of trauma. These experiences often show up as emotional distress, behavioral struggles, or difficulty functioning in school, at home, or in relationships.
The Services We Provide
We offer the same services as any licensed outpatient mental health clinic—but our approach is adapted to the school and family environment:
-
Diagnostic evaluations
-
Individual and family therapy
-
Group therapy (CBT skills, ACT, behavioral parent training, etc.)
-
Medication management by a psychiatric provider
-
School-based satellite services (coming soon)
-
Crisis support services
Our Goals (Practical + Visionary)
-
Deliver excellent care that’s compliant with all state regulations
-
Make mental health support accessible, not intimidating
-
Build a sustainable clinic that can grow over time
-
Reduce stigma and help communities see behavioral health as a strength
-
Support clinicians and staff with systems, training, and kindness
